Smartphone Working

A smartphone is a handheld electronic device that provides a connection to a cellular network. Smartphones allow people to make phone calls, send text messages, and access the Internet. A smartphone is another term used to refer to a personal digital assistant. This is a device that has a color screen and combines the features of a laptop and a mobile phone. It also has the ability to connect networks wirelessly and send electronic messages.

Smartphone Operating System

A mobile operating system (OS) is software that allows smartphones, tablet PCs (personal computers) and other devices to run applications and programs. A mobile OS typically starts up when a device powers on, presenting a screen with icons or tiles that present information and provide application access.

  • 1.    Android OS:The Android operating system is the most popular operating system today. It is a mobile OS based on the Linux Kernel and open-source software. The android operating system was developed by Google. The first Android device was launched in 2008.
  • 2.    iPhone OS / iOS:The iOS was developed by the Apple inc for the use on its device. The iOS operating system is the most popular operating system today. It is a very secure operating system. The iOS operating system is not available for any other mobiles.
  • 3.    Windows Mobile OS:The window mobile OS is a mobile operating system that was developed by Microsoft. It was designed for the pocket PCs and smart mobiles.
  • Connect your phones to WiFi network

  • 1.    From your Home screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
  • 2.    Turn on Wi-Fi. Your device will automatically search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  • 3.    Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to join.
  • Using mobile data

    Mobile data allows your phone to access the Internet even when you're not on Wi-Fi. Mobile data gives you an Internet connection anywhere as long as you're connected to a cellular network. OR mobile data is what allows your phone to get online when you're away from Wi-Fi. Mobile-enabled devices can send and receive information over a wireless cellular connection. As long as you have a cellular connection, you can use the Internet.

    Connect your phone google account

  • 1.    If you haven't already, set up a Google account.
  • 2.    Open your device's Settings app.
  • 3.    Tap Accounts Add account. Google.
  • 4.    Follow the instructions to add your account.
  • 5.    If needed, repeat steps to add multiple accounts.
